A night so terrifying, he blocked it for 30 years...

Jake Edwards hasn’t thought about the Northern Michigan Asylum in three decades. Good book in a great series

A man gets a visit from a woman from his past he can't remember. Before he knows it, she disappears and he gets entangled in a web that started in the past he can't remember. As he pieces it all together, terrible truths are revealed.

This was a fascinating listen. I absolutely loved the build up of the story and the development of the characters. I really liked Norm, he was such a refreshing and real character.

The narrator was good, portraying the characters and emotions well.

While I liked this story overall, it wasn't my favourite in the series. I liked the book and story, just not the end. I still love this series and will be eager to listen to more.

Note: this book was given to me for free at my request and I have left this objective review voluntarily.

Such an Edge of your seat Story

I have so enjoyed the Series and excited to move forward to the End. I Love listening to the Narrator of this Book Alan is Awesome! But I have to say the Melanie Henshe Bored me so so badly I almost stopped listening completely 😳 She makes it so Blane and no change in her voice all the way through! I hope she doesn't Narrator on the rest of these stories bc I just Lost All interest trying to listen to her in slow motion voice. I'm headed Now to Book 7 So Thank you The Stories are Great!😁 Keep them Coming with Alan reading lol 😁🥰

As always, fantastic story

As with each book in this series, this story was amazing.

Jack and Charlie are really good characters, and I really enjoyed the way in which their stories get intertwined. And having back some of the characters from the previous books was a wonderful bonus.

As always, the story is full of tension and very, very intriguing. While we are learning about Jack's childhood and which was his relationship with Petra we also are trying to learn what happened to her and what happened to them both in the Northern Asylum.

Charlie, on the other hand, is trying to learn about her new house and the spirits that haunted it, but that isn't without danger.

A real page-turner, wonderfully narrated by Alan Carlson, fully recommended.

Seventh

I totally enjoy this series as each one can be standalones and a paranormal thriller. In this book Jake is contacted by old friend Petra from his younger past which he cannot remember. She goes missing and he meets Norm which the cops believe they are involved. He also goes to hypnotist that Petra went to and finds out his past and about Maribelle. He meets Charlie who has been seeing ghost in her new house and they become an item. Just listen, cannot wait for next one.
