These days, no one in America feels immune to violence. But now, in this extraordinary, groundbreaking book, the nation's leading expert on predicting violent behavior unlocks the puzzle of human violence and shows that, like every creature on earth, we have within us the ability to predict the harm others might do us and get out of its way. A Must-Read for Understanding & Managing Menopause
Although I’m not personally going through menopause, I decided to listen to this audiobook to better understand what many women experience during this phase of life. This audiobook turned out to be an incredibly valuable resource, offering deep insights into the challenges and solutions associated with menopause. The advice on diet and nutrition was especially informative, highlighting smart choices that can make a significant difference in one’s overall well-being. I also found the sleep improvement strategies to be incredibly practical—these are tips I would recommend to anyone struggling with insomnia, whether related to menopause or not. Even though I’m not directly affected by menopause right now, this audiobook gave me a much deeper understanding and empathy for those who are. I plan to revisit it when I reach that stage in my life, knowing it will be an invaluable guide. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to educate themselves or prepare for the future.

Menopause, a great guide to survive the journey.
Menopause has many issues that are directly related to experiencing this phase of womanhood. Weight gain, hot flashes, mood swings, and insomnia are the main issues. This book explains different strategies that can offer help with the symptoms such as acupuncture, chiropractic treatments, kava supplements, and hormone therapy. A change in diet suggests eating less red meat since red meat is known to increase body temperature, which makes hot flashes more pronounced. Insomnia can be addressed by providing a calming environment in the room ranging from keeping the bedroom cool, 65 degrees, removing blue light sources of any kind such as computers, cell phones, & TV . Mood swings can be helped by relaxing and setting the tone for bedtime by keeping a routine of waking / sleep cycle, no caffeine or alcohol for 6 hours before bedtime. Weight gain can be addressed by weight lifting or other exercise such as yoga.
