It's organized. Just what I want for a book.

I loved that this book did a lot of listing rather than paragraphs of information that run together and become confusing. For an informational book, this did a great job at keeping my attention. I never realized how often I’d zone out of what I do during the day and find myself lost in thought. Now that I am attempting to be mindful, there are so many things that I had looked at, but never seen with unjudgmental eyes. This book did wonders to my mental state.

I loved the way this book was narrated.

It gave a sense of being talked to rather than just informed. It was not chocked full of large words and difficult terminology, but rather a lot of easily understood concepts. Unfortunately, there weren’t many explanations behind techniques, so I had to go onto Google and learn a bit more about mindfulness and meditation before putting it to use!

It's easy to follow and comprehend.

The reader of the book was a bit too slow for me. It didn’t have a lot of difficult concepts to comprehend, so I sped it up and it became much better. Aside from this, the list-based book was easy to follow and comprehend. The examples added some story to it, which added to my interest. I stand by this book and the information inside of it.

I already know most of this.

I was disappointed by the information in this book. Most of it was things that I already know. I wanted to learn something new and I only learned a few things. Because of this, I will need to rely on another book to aid my personal growth. I didn’t know what mindfulness was, but its something that everyone already does, so I can’t see how it will help anything

This was an interesting read.

Mindfulness is not something I have thought about. I find it surprising that someone thought to write an entire book on the topic. It taught me a lot of things on how to be mindful. Being mindful isn’t as easy as it sounds, and the book gives a lot of different ways to do it. It also had sections for people with ADHD and for kids. Good book.

I have no doubt this book would work.

I wish it would have used better instructions on how to do the exercises rather than examples of times when the exercises may be useful. I liked that there were other sources to look at on the last pages. I will look at them and see if there is a better instructional.

It is one good book to date.

I almost gave the book a perfect review, but the person reading the book was just a bit slow. He was in no way monotonous, but I had to increase reading speed to keep entertained. It gave me a lot to think about. In fact, I have about a page and a half of notes I took from the hour-long book full of ideas of things to try in my everyday life. I got all I wanted from this book.

i'm reaping the benefits.

I feel like the book would have been better suited with a meditative voice telling it, as the book itself seems to advocate such things. Aside from that, I learned what I was hoping to in order to cope with the high stress of my everyday life. I can only hope that some of these ideas will benefit me in the way they have helped others.

Interesting Listen

Good narration and great organization throughout the story. A few of the examples made little sense to the topic, but for the most part everything was helpful and I am excited to utilize a few of the new techniques I learned from this story.

The most overwhelming among the books I've heard.

From the third book on mindfulness I’ve read this year, I feel that this was the most underwhelming. It gave the utter basics and not much explanation on the process of becoming mindful. Most other books use step-by-step guides on how to clear your head and gain attentiveness, but this book used a lot of examples—some that were entirely unnecessary.
