Publisher's summary

Magic. Mayhem. And a little romance!

Dianna Flowers was a starving artist, a disappointment to her parents, and a local weirdo.

Not exactly the kind of woman having to beat the guys off with a stick.

So when she challenged the town matchmaker to set her up with her one true love, she meant it as a joke. But when she meets Parker Smith and sparks start to fly, she begins to wonder if he could be her soul mate...even if he doesn't have a soul.

My Blind Date Is a Zombie is a fun, quirky, and clean paranormal romance for all listeners! It is the fourth book in the Love Is Blind series, but each book can be listeneed to independently.

This book was originally released as a serial through Kindle Vella.

Interesting take on zombies

This is the 4 book in the series. I would have never considered a zombie romance. At least when I think of a zombie I think gross. But in this book the zombie is more like a vampire and misunderstood in the paranormal world. Dianna is a human that lives among the undead, witches, and werewolves of Mystic cove. They are as normal to her as any human. So when she meets Parker he is intriguing to her. They had some bumpy patches in their dating But somehow a relationship with a zombie was made to work. In the blind date with the vampire it is explained how the couple was going to have a relationship when one aged and the other didn’t. I don’t remember there being an explanation in this one of if they would. W able to have children.

Enjoyed

I really got into the story. I enjoyed that the characters were so different as in humans, shifters, witches, vampires and zombies. When a human girl fall for a zombie man their world get turned upside down. She’ll be the one to open his guarded heart and save him from a killer. The narrator did a good job telling the story.

A Fun Listen

This was a good book. I enjoyed both pov characters. I liked how Dahlia was willing to go against her family and be who she wanted to be in both her art and her style. Parker the titular zombie, was unique in the fact he is Mystic Cove's first zombie. Needless to say, Parker and Dahlia are adorable together and I enjoyed the way their relationship developed. This was a fun listen, and I would totally read more in this series.

very Interesting

This was a great read. I enjoyed the characters and the plot was interesting. My second read from this author and all I can say is what's next.
Dianna Flowers is not exactly living the dream. Twenty three and part time working at a bookstore and teaching art. She loves her art but she’s not exactly sure where her life is heading. While she is loving her independence from her obsessed parents she is still living in a rat infested apartment. Beverly Barnes witch, bookstore owner and matchmaker extraordinaire is Dianna’s boss and she is challenged by Dianna to find her soulmate and so she does. That is Parker Smith a zombie and just a regular guy. Turns out all the scary movies, books and tv shows had it wrong. He’s had a rough go of it in Mystic Cove as there are a group of citizens who are trying to run him out. Apparently vampires, shifters and witches are ok zombies not so much. Shy and run down due to the constant harassment Parker does his best to mostly fade into the background. After Beverly sets them up, The two meet and things are a little strange at first but as the two get to know each other they prove the old saying opposites attract. Dianna is feeling like she’s all in, but Parker is haunted by his past. Will his secrets ruin their newly found relationship? There was a shocking twist in the ending that I did not see coming. Loved this story it was so quirky and entertaining. The Flowers family Sunday brunch was a hoot. I love the premise of the series and this book was a great read.
