Publisher's summary

A predecessor to such monumental works as Crime and Punishment and The Brothers Karamazov, Notes From Underground represents a turning point in Dostoevsky's writing towards the more political side. In this work we follow an unnamed narrator who is disillusioned by the oppression and corruption of the society in which he lives and withdraws into the underground. Notes from the Underground shows Dostoevsky at his best.

required a heading.

The tale of a crazy asshole who never reached emotional maturity. A solid performance of a good book.

Really good performance

This is the first time I take a more complex fiction book on Audible. I've read this book before and now I tried the audio version. I must say that the format is not the best for this kind of books, which need complete and exclusive attention, so reading would be recommended.

Altough that, the narrator is amazing. The way he interprets the book is great!

I suggest reading the book first and then taking the audiobook

Raskolnikov by Dick Hill

I shall always think of Dick Hill's voice as that of Raskolnikov. A fine performance that found the nuance of sense in the madness. Well done!

Annoying narrator

I could not finish this book, because of how terrible the narrator is. He is painful to listen to. Annoying, pretentious, yells and pauses at moments where it doesn't make any sense. AWFUL!!!
