Great book

This is an amazing audiobook about how being a perfectionist is related to anxiety. I related very much so with the authors personal story and found it helpful to know that I am not alone on my journey. I definitely felt inspired with some of the learned behaviors, such as delegating tasks And kind of rethinking when things are OK and aren’t OK. For whatever reason a lot of us learned to be perfectionist early on in life and it’s a hard habit to break, especially when it leads to anxious behavior. But this book does teach that progress does not happen overnight but with small successes and small steps forward, you can achieve some great results. Chock full of good info and exercises to facilitate change.

The examples are super relatable, and the strategies are practical—nothing too overwhelming or unrealistic. The narration is clear and easy to listen to, making it feel more like a conversation than a lecture. If you tend to overthink everything (like me), this is definitely worth a listen. Lots of useful takeaways to start making real changes!
