About this listen

How to build - and keep - generational wealth!

How can a family build "safe and sure" wealth...that lasts for generations? That's the question answered by Perpetual Wealth.

You'll discover how families can create wealth together to serve the good of all. The authors call it "family financing", and it's about much more than money!

Among the many fascinating and insightful points, you'll learn:

  • Why "typical" financial advice sabotages long-term wealth
  • The "four cornerstones of generational wealth" that ensure an inheritance will be wisely used, not wasted
  • Why life insurance is "better than a bank" for growing wealth
  • The 13 "rules" for raising financially responsible children
  • Plus, how to invest in the future of your family...and leave a lasting legacy

Perpetual Wealth also includes an engaging story of a fictional family that will show you examples and ideas for:

  • Family retreats to learn and grow together
  • Writing a family mission statement
  • Using family financing for leadership development
  • Guidelines for family saving, lending, and borrowing
  • And much more

Critic reviews

"The idea of Perpetual Wealth has always fed my soul purpose. "Perpetual" meaning long-term legacy, and "Soul Purpose" meaning what I was put on earth to do/give. Those two go together in a way that drives my energies every day. This book gives you some concrete steps to take with your family to work on both legacy and your own sense of your gifts (and your family's gifts) to the world." (Garrett Gunderson, New York Times best-selling author and Chief Wealth Architect of Wealth Factory)

Fantastic, amazing job, Kate and Kim!!!

I was blown away by the depth of content in this book - no surprise this book took years to write, well worth it! My favorite parts were the terrific ideas on how to successfully conduct semi-annual family meetings rich in experience and content. I’ve been looking for that road map for my own family. Priceless.
I highly recommend the audio book as well - personally read by Kim, BONUS!
Great job you two, truly, truly appreciate the effort.

Very informative listen

It did not include any figures or tables so that eas a major downside. I learned a lot and truly discovered the complexity of building wealth especially if it's not treated like a serious family business or banking it can erode in very little time.

The poor writing and story line of the family

The poor writing and story line of the family. I was looking for a more interesting information based book. I found it more kin to a b-movie script of a generic Dick Tracy type.

Think Garrett Gunderson's and Doug Andrew's books crammed in to this book, now add lines like "Karen double checked her bags with extra notebooks, markers and play dough, jumped in the car and nervously said well it's now or never..."
