About this listen
Most people have regrets. Ask them. They will tell you about the opportunities they missed, the dreams they left behind, and the memories of lost loves, locked away until their journeys end. We have no such luxuries, those of us entangled with the dead. It is our job as exorcists to guide them from this world, and finish their unfinished business, even if it means searching for 300 missing souls.
This is a recollection of my first case, from a time when I thought nothing of the shadows beneath my feet. This is Exorcism 101.

"Imagine you have the power to fly. Pretty awesome, right? Imagine you have the power to levitate or crush something the size of a Winnebago. Equally awesome. Now ... here's the catch: having the power means you are bonded irreversibly to a smartass, sociopathic alien life form. Not so awesome. So, what would you do with all of that power? The way I figured it, I had one of two options: Option #1) Use it to commit crime or Option #2) Use it to fight crime. My name is Gabe Garrison and I chose Option #2."

Lucas knows the perfect night entails just three things: video games, wine, and pad thai. Peanuts are a must! Other people? Not so much. Why complicate things when he’s happy alone? Then one day the apartment board, a vexing trio of authority, rings his doorbell. And Lucas’s solitude takes a startling hike. They demand to see his frying pan. Someone left one next to the recycling room overnight, and instead of removing the errant object, as Lucas suggests, they insist on finding the guilty party. But their plan backfires. Colossally.

Story
When two childhood best friends blow up their respective romantic relationships, they make a time-sensitive pact: serial-cheater Chuck cannot sleep with anyone as she attends a three-month-long recovery group for cheaters, while sex-deprived Sofia vows to hook up with as many people as possible before recommitting to monogamy and tying the knot with her long-time fiancé. To keep things interesting, Chuck and Sofia decide to revive a past tradition from their summer camp days—also known as the dawning of sluthood.

The True Story of The Coward Brothers follows two musical brothers – one English, one American, both the illegitimate sons of dubious parentage who may, as they claim to be, "one and half-brothers" – perhaps a reference to the disparity in their height and relative talents.

Story
Campbell Flynn, art historian, professor, and fêted fixture of the literati, always knew that when his life came crashing down, it would happen in public—yet he never imagined that a single year in London would expose so much. He’s never taken other people half as seriously as they take themselves, which is the first of his mistakes. The second is a new project: opportunistic and precisely calibrated to rake in a fortune.

Story
What would happen if a shy introvert lived like a gregarious extrovert for one year? If she knowingly and willingly put herself in perilous social situations that she’d normally avoid at all costs? Writer Jessica Pan intends to find out. With the help of various extrovert mentors, Jessica sets up a series of personal challenges (talk to strangers, perform stand-up comedy, host a dinner party, travel alone, make friends on the road, and much, much worse) to explore whether living like an extrovert can teach her lessons that might improve the quality of her life.

Talking with the Dead
Would you consider the audio edition of Sincerely, from the Other Side to be better than the print version?
Since I have never read the book, I can not compare. The story was enjoyable.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Cyrus was the most enjoyable since he still has a lot to tell us about what he has seen.
Which scene was your favorite?
The whole basketball scene was great. Seeing someone play while you can't see the other player would be interesting, to say the least.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
The Death Speaks Again

Not what I thought.<br />
This book surprised me because when I found it, it was tagged in the horror genre. This book is more of a fantasy to me as it was never very scary. It had funny moments and was well written, but I was just sort of disappointed because I was expecting something else.
The narrator did a good job, but her voice sounded so young that it wouldn't be out of place reading children's books.

Sincerly, from the Other Side
I couldn't finish the booK, not because of the storyline, which I couldn't get into due to the narrators voice. The narrator's voice sounds so young, I believe she would be better suited reading children's books

Supernatural/Ghosts with humor
I love any book that contain ghosts more the better, in this book there were good and bad ones with humor. My favorite characters of course were the main characters, Claudia and Cyrus. Story was interesting but narrator sound too young making it seem it was a book for teens/young adults. I still enjoyed it. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator. Thank you.

sadly narrator blew this for me
Don't get me wrong, I like the story line. But I could not get to into it because the narrator blew this for me. She sounded... well she sounded like she had a retainer in her mouth. or something. way to young, and kind of seemed bored with the story, and kind of slurred her words together.
I am bummed because the story line is good. I think I am going to get the kindle book of this so I can finish the story.
