Didn't expect this to help

I’ve never really believed that repeating positive phrases could make a difference, but I decided it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot. It felt a little silly at first, but after a while I noticed I was being less negative toward myself. I wouldn’t go as far as to say repeating positive affirmations changed my life, but they did help me focus on more positive thoughts instead of always expecting the worst. I still have doubts, but I can see why people find this useful.
