Publisher's summary

Aria and Roven's story continues in The Bones of the Mountain.

As Aria and her guardian begin to unravel the young Queen's past, their futures irrevocably entwine. Uncertainties threaten to crumble the very world they seek to build, and the Queen of Lyria must decide not only what kind of ruler she wants to be, but what she is willing to sacrifice to heed destiny’s call.

While Aria and Roven work to uncover the secrets of the Siddha, Bree and Kaitlyn venture into uncharted territories both in the land beyond the Crescent Mountains, and in their hearts.

Stubborn to a fault, Kaitlyn must learn to be vulnerable in order to heal. Bree may be just the warrior she needs to help her view vulnerability in a new light, but Bree battles insecurities of her own. Will they find the Sword of Songs in time to save the kingdom from bloodshed, or will the mountains claim them first?

This is the second book in a self-published fantasy series by Casey Elizabeth Dunne. As an author, Casey seeks to illuminate the often unacknowledged darker aspects of the human condition and explore the ways in which we learn to cope with these parts of ourselves.

Content warning: This book is intended for mature audiences and deals with themes of trauma, death, violence, drugs, and sex.

Excellent Series!!!

I can't believe there aren't more reviews for this series. This is a self-published author with plans for a trilogy who has some of the best fantasy romance writing I've seen in a long time. The story is really interesting and fresh. The love is healthy, hot, and loving. can't wait for number 3.
