Publisher's summary

My mother tells me you can't run from your past. You need to face it in order to appreciate the present and plan for the future. But I'd sell my soul not to deal with mine. It's five-foot-four, has fake green eyes, and is the cause of all my torment.

When I knew her—when I loved her, she was just Liliana.

But now they call her Lily. The Queen of Emerald Falls.

She thinks she can bully me into silence. Make my life a living hell while keeping her prestigious status intact.

But a lot has changed in three years.

It's time the Queen met her match.

Contains mature themes.

Lily is a sociopath

This book is a like a car crash on the highway. I couldn’t stop listening because I had to see what happened and I kept expecting Lily to come around but she was horrible throughout the entire thing. Like really bad. She abused Spencer through the whole book. And to think she wanted to be a psychiatrist 🤣 um no. Anyone that could do what she did to him over and over needs serious mental help. He should have run fast and far away from her. Spoiler- Even with the happy ending I’m still pissed he forgave her. I felt like the book kept trying to justify her behavior. Nope. Under no circumstances is what she did okay for any reason.
