Wow! What a story! Twists on twists. Turns on turns. Four people with secrets get invited (with pressure) to an escape room/house/island. The mystery host calls it the murder maze. They have to work together yet only one will survive and win the $$$$$$. Like I said, what a story.

I have to tell you: it's been such a pleasure to listen to Candace Fitzgerald and Curtis Michael Holland perform this thriller. With their distinctive voices and their dedication to the characters and the story. they really brought this book to life. 5 stars plus for them.

I really enjoyed the multiple points of view—it added depth and kept the story moving at a fast pace. The narrators did a great job bringing each perspective to life. They read clearly, were easy to understand, and made the experience even more engaging.

Four people receive an invitation to go and play a game with the final winner to get $1 million! Who would not want a chance at that, well, those who don't have that kind of money.
How to put together a maze that changes so that there is one winner. A maze that is so unique, each person has a different place to go, and different 'things' to do. I was really quite amazed at the different scenarios that I listened to! The different sounds of peoples characters were spot-on to the type of people they were speaking for, too.
The ending is one that is absolutely not in the playing field of information, and one that is epic, to say the least!

I was entertained by this twisted and convoluted game, played by contestants, who weren't always who they seemed to be. I liked the cleverness of this story. I liked trying to guess the final outcome before the end. I was amazed by all the machinations, and my attention was captured from the beginning until the end. I enjoyed Candace Fitzgerald's and Curtis Michael Holland's narrations as their performances enhanced the story's entertainment. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.

5 Star ratings for each of the 2 narrators, Candace Fitzgerald and Michael Curtis Holland for their vocal abilities in creating an immersive experience that captured the different characters so well and really springing this story to life for me.

Back in February I gave the book an easy 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating! The Murder Maze a’MAZE’d me from beginning to end! This unique escape room competition concept was packed with mystery, murder, secrets, lies, and morally ambiguous characters willing to do whatever it takes to be the winner of a huge monetary prize. Taken to a small uninhabited island, 4 contestants have no idea what lies before them or what they’ll need to do to win. But each of them was selected for a reason!

The Murder Maze is well-written, engaging, suspenseful and unputdownable. . . setting up the most shocking twists throughout, and so many more revelations until the very end! No questions left unanswered and a very satisfying ending! And Candace and Curtis enhanced my listening experience and made it even more memorable! ❤️

I’m already familiar with this author’s work, so I was excited to dive into another one of her stories—and I’m so glad I did. From the start, the story pulled me in and kept me hooked. I initially thought it might be hard to keep track of all the characters, but the author lays everything out so clearly that each person stands out and is memorable in their own right.

The plot demands your full attention—you won’t want to miss a single twist or turn. There were so many surprising developments I never saw coming, and I enjoyed every one of them. Thankfully, the story was so entrancing that staying focused was effortless.

The narration was equally impressive. Both the male and female narrators delivered engaging, well-matched performances that brought the story to life. This was a very satisfying listen from beginning to end, and I’m looking forward to more from both the author and these narrators.

This is very twisted and dark. It's a masterplan to get people on an island, and let them fight it out over a money prize. Only one winner,and it may be a battle to the death!!! It is utterly diabolical how devious this plan was. Was it psycho or genius? You decide. A gripping riveting listen you will definitely get caught up in. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrators did a great job bringing the characters and story to life.

This is another amazing read from this fantastic author!! I’ve read 6 of her books, so far, and all have easily been 5🌟’s! I love the way she tells a story and her writing is excellent!

This book is very exciting and suspenseful!
It reminded me a little of the movie- Glass Onion, a Knives Out mystery. (I love that movie)
Jane Patterson receives a mysterious invitation to an island where she could possibly win an enormous sum of money and she can’t say no to this. Three other people arrive at this island as well and only one will win the money.
Will any of them survive the murder maze?

The thrills and mysterious circumstances kept me guessing all the way through and kept my heart rate up! Some deep and dark fears are brought out at this island.
I really enjoyed the multiple POV that the story is told by. It made it extra exciting to me.

I listened to the audio version and the narrator did an excellent job. It was a fast read/listen because I couldn’t stop!
*A definite must read or listen!!* It’s out now!
