Publisher's summary

This cat man isn’t all that cute and cuddly.

Varnoth’s journey through the lush fantasy world of Albattara continues. After the defeat of the Derelict gang’s vile crime boss, Atlas Blackthorne, all seems well for the countryside. However, a horrific event occurs that forces the shadow panther to lead a massive group of diverse refugees as they search desperately for a safe haven. Varnoth will battle ghastly monsters and adventure on fascinating quests as he grows into one of the most powerful heroes in all the land.

This time around, Varnoth is not alone. There are new and unique side characters that join the fight alongside the legendary Black Blade.

Will this power be enough when retribution knocks on Varnoth's door? Will the shadow panther be able to keep his people safe?

An army of monsters led by a depraved, bloodthirsty tyrant will test Varnoth’s bravery and skill. Will the shadow panther be able to prevent the slaughter of the very people he swore to protect?

This is an epic fantasy LitRPG adventure that includes leveling, statistics, quests, dungeons, and loot!

Shadow Panthers rule

book 2 continues from the last well that was d dumb to say. well your here reading the comments cause you want to know if this book is good. well yes it is i like how varnoth get 2 new sidekicks one a orc bard the other a pyromancer she come in late in the book an is a quest. Varnoth continues his journey as he becomes part of the village that he helps take out the bandits he also has to help out some gnomes "gnomes rule" an this leads to a epic battle. other then the quick briefing of what this book is about i really enjoyed the second book thought it was better then the first an has more of a story plot to it then the first .First i thought was more about varnoth getting use to what he is a shadow cat. now the second book is got the plot from the first book an another an well i just got to say i like john the bard . so i say give it a try one more thing i know in the fist the it seems as if the story played slow . in this one here seem to be normal i did up the speed tad from 1 to 1.1 thus me giving performance a 4 other wise it would of been a five for book 2

Simply brutally efficient

I loved the first book and this book did not disappoint from start to finish this book is fantastic. There's no wasted excess unneeded details, the MC does not spend chapter after chapter not knowing what the heck he's doing or what's going on. and the fight scenes are brutally depicted and are exciting My only disappointment or con to the book is that I don't have the third one already look it's a book you need to pick up you will love it.

Jack Voraces does all of the voices amazing you truly can tell the difference between all of the characters absolutely a treat to listen to.

Very descriptive.

I’m fairly new to LitRPG’s. I like that this series still has a storyline that takes the front page to the “game play notifications.” rather than the other way around. It makes it more immersive for me. This said, there is a lot of violence like the last book.

Solid story, and solid performance. Can’t wait to pick up the next book.

Rushed

This felt like it was crammed together and condensed as much as possible. Tha end was rushed and weird.
