• Seeking Truth, Making Idols
    Dec 30 2024

The pursuit of truth is fundamental to spirituality. Thus, the quest for truth forms an integral part of a man’s spiritual journey. But what really is the truth? Is it what the majority believes to be true? Is it what serves man’s selfish desires (interests)? How can man accurately seek and perceive the absolute truths that must form his doctrine? What should guide him in this vital quest?

In this message, "Seeking Truth, Making Idols," Pastor Jeffrey Walter teaches on what must guide a man in his pursuit of truth. He points out the danger of drawing strength from what the majority believes to be right and shows how God uses the minority to preserve truth with a church (generation). He goes on to explain the four (4) spiritual states that men may experience in their spiritual journey. He also reveals how the man who seeks truth with an evil heart ends up falsifying the truth (makes idols). He concludes that the state of a man's heart (i.e. affection for truth for the sake of righteousness or lack thereof) is crucial in determining whether or not he finds, accepts, and patterns his life after the unadulterated truth of who God is and how He ought to be worshipped.

This message will open your eyes to how easily men can decline spiritually, and empower you with the right mindset and purpose to pursue truth.

Note: This message builds on from a previous message, “Faith in God”, which was preached on Day 1 of the November 2024 Special Program. Kindly listen to this message for further clarification on the making of idols.

    Theme Passage: John 8:39 - 45 KJV

39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. 40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. 41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. 42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

    Key Scriptures: Mathew 5:8 KJV

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

    Isaiah 28:13 KJV

“But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.”

    John 7:17 KJV

“If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.”

  • The Pursuit Of Eternal Life
    Dec 8 2024

The intimate knowledge and revelation of God to man is not the preserve of a special group of people. All men are called to know God, and to live the kind of life He has willed for us as an inheritance: Eternal Life. If only we are willing to persevere and fight in pursuit of this, we will surely lay hold of it.

Pastor Jeffrey Walter, in this Holy Communion message, “The Pursuit of Eternal Life”, explains what eternal life is, and describes practically what constitutes this kind of life. He goes on to reveal what it means to know God (i.e., to have eternal life) and how a person comes to the spiritual knowledge of God. Finally, he admonishes that this kind of life is attainable by all. By using examples from his own life, he inspires the spirit of perseverance and encourages that it is never too late to begin one’s pursuit of the spiritual knowledge of God and the eternal life (inheritance) He has promised each of us.

    Key scripture: John 17:1-3 KJV

[1] These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: [2] as thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. [3] And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

    John 3:16 KJV

[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

    Dec 1 2024

Men are destined to be co-laborers with God, that is, serving as vessels that can contain and express/manifest His presence. In order for this to be realised, man must abandon his will (desire), understanding (thoughts) and actions. Subsequently, he must allow God (the Divine) to take absolute control of them so that God will be expressed through him.

In this November 2024 Special Programme, Pastor Jeffrey Walter demonstrates why consecration is critical to knowing the one true God, in order to be joined to Him (the Vine) and serve His purpose according to His prescribed way. Through our spiritual training, we become well-aligned to operate as co-labourers with Him, by the Spirit of Sonship.

In this episode, “The Spirit of Sonship”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter demonstrates how all men are called to the ministry. He explains how the spirit of sonship comes upon a man who diligently labours in doctrine (the Word of God in the natural) and gives himself to the Lord's training. He unveils how a man can perceive truth through revelation by faithfully adhering to these processes.

Furthermore, he details the two categories of works and finally elaborates on the two ways the Holy Spirit comes upon a man: as the firstfruit and as the harvest.

May you receive grace to labor diligently in doctrine that you may be ushered into the spirit of Sonship. Quench not the Spirit!

    Theme Scripture: John 5:19-20 (KJV)

19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.

Other Scriptures: John 12:49, Ephesians 1:17-20, Romans 8:23, Romans 1:4, John 16:12-14 [All Scriptures in KJV)

  • 02 TSC Nov 24 Kumasi | The Vine and The Branches
    Nov 29 2024

Only the Lord is actually building something of eternal value in this world. Jesus says without Him, we can do nothing. In order to bear Godly fruit, the Son of Man must lay his head in you— this is what it means for Him to abide in us. But how can this be, when the “foxes and birds” have a dwelling place in us already? What does it practically mean for the Lord to abide in us as used in this scripture?

In this November 2024 Special Programme, Pastor Jeffrey Walter demonstrates why consecration is critical to knowing the one true God, in order to be joined to Him (the Vine) and serve His purpose according to His prescribed way. Through our spiritual training, we become well-aligned to operate as co-labourers with Him, by the Spirit of Sonship.

In this episode titled “The Vine and the Branches,” Pastor Jeffrey Walter teaches on the relationship between the vine and the branches (from John 15) in the context of who God is. He shares insights about some thoughts on God's nature and how they relate to ministry, emphasizing the importance of aligning with His ways to effectively bear godly fruit.

What God requires of us is to abide. May we receive grace to give up on our own desires and thoughts, and fully abide in Him.

    Theme Scripture: John 15:5 (KJV)

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

    Nov 28 2024

The revelation of who God is, comes to man so that he may align himself in total submission to this one true God. Confidence in who God is and our willingness to conform to this knowledge constitutes genuine faith in God. However, man, who is set in his own ways with contrary affections and thoughts about who God is, forms for himself, an idol (i.e. a falsified idea of who God actually is) to serve his self-determined will and interest.

In this episode, “Faith in God” Pastor Jeffrey Walter reveals that Faith in God is not in the ability to get God to accomplish one’s desires, but rather, is in placing confidence in who He really is. He describes idolatary in principle, and consequently shows how it opposes faith in who God is. He exemplifies some misconstrued qualities of God and goes on to outline how some limitations of man obscure his vision of the operations of God. He concludes by affirming that the one who will work for God must abandon his ways to trust who God actually is.

This message will encourage you to embrace all that God is. You will see the need to continually search for God and what He is up to in every matter.

Key scriptures: Romans 1:21-23 KJV 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Deuteronomy 27:15 KJV Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.

  • The Lawful Captives (Battling For The Souls Of Men)
    Nov 24 2024

No might of the enemy is ever too great for God's deliverance power. Indeed, the Lord stands ever ready to contend with the evils that contend with us, and to set us on a path of recovery. Such is the unrelenting heart of the Lord God our Saviour, the Redeemer and Mighty One of Jacob!

In this message, “The Lawful Captives (Battling for the Souls of Men)”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter assures of the Lord's readiness to set the lawful captives of the enemy free. He exposes the various strategies and conditions of heart used by the enemy to keep a man (the prey) strongly bound in captivity and in a state of spiritual insanity (madness). He further points out the role of genuine fasting and prayers (repentance) in the removal of spiritual insanity. Finally, he teaches how God has planted a mustard seed (remnant) in the heart of every spiritually insane person, and explains how this mustard seed must be the foundation upon which the actual work of God in a man’s heart can be established.

As you listen to this message, may the Lord open your eyes to the tactics of the enemy, and may you be empowered as a labourer of God to set men free.

    Key Scripture: Isaiah 49:24-26 KJV

[24] Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? [25] But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. [26] And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

  • Labourers In His Harvest
    Nov 17 2024

The Lord commands all believers to go into the world and preach the gospel. Thus, the ultimate call of all believers is to labour for the salvation of the souls of men. But how can the Lord’s labourers (believers) discern and know the people to whom they have been called to preach the gospel (sheep without a shepherd)? And with what posture of heart and mind must the believer labour for the souls of men?

In this message, “Labourers In His Harvest”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter explicates the mindset, affection and foresight (hope) that the believer must have in order to be a labourer (soul winner) in the Lord’s harvest. He further explains what the Lord’s harvest entails and how the labourer can successfully reap of it. Finally, he emphasizes how crucial it is for all believers to burgeon into labourers in the Lord’s harvest, unriddling the rewards (wages) of partaking in this divinely useful work.

Beloved, this message will help you gain an in-depth appreciation of the Lord’s work in men concerning the salvation of their souls. It will also help you realize your role in this harvest and be emboldened to respond to the Lord’s call for labourers into His harvest!

    Key Scriptures:

    Mathew 9:36-38 KJV

[36] “But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.[37] Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; [38] Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.”

    John 4:34-35 KJV

[34] “Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. [35] Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.”

  • The Stranger, The Fatherless And The Widow
    Nov 10 2024

The scriptures highlight three groups of people the Lord seeks to help: the stranger, the fatherless and the widow. Who are these people, and what kind of help does the Lord desire for them? How do we cooperate with God to bring help to these, and what connection does this have with our own salvation?

In this message, “The Stranger, the Fatherless and the Widow”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter starts by defining what good is, and shows how a proper understanding of what goodness is must inspire us to seek the salvation of the souls of men. He presents and explains the three groups of the poor in spirit, i.e., the strangers, the fatherless and widows, and goes on to teach on the Lord's desire to help each of them, as well as how we are to seek their spiritual good. Indeed, this is what true religion is about.

This message will impart unto you grace to give food and raiment to the stranger, the fatherless and the widow. You will be empowered to consecrate yourself unto the Lord that He may go forth through you to give to the poor.

    Key Scriptures:

James 1:27 KJV Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Deuteronomy 10:17-19 KJV For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe. He doth execute the judgement of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment. Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
