As I journey through life, I continue to observe how we treat life and how life, in return, treats us. I see the evil that people do to fellow human beings and their cruelty to animals. Much as I try, I cannot shut my eyes and ears to what people do. Even when I try to ignore these things, the vital sensory organs that connect my brain to the world will not cease to send signals to my brain. As my brain processes all the information that my eyes and ears send, it engages my heart and causes it not to rest.

Dear listener, this is a work of my heart. These are somersaults in my chest, put into words. May they be of service to you on your journey in this wild game called life played in this incredible place called Earth. And may our deepest poetry be written in the silent elation of our smiles.

I am continuing with a genre of poetry that I created that I call schizoetry. It is a literary work fusing poetry with the thoughts, feelings, and perceptions of one who lives with a schizophrenic or schizoaffective disorder. I have been writing poetry since the age of 10. My poems go deep into my mind, emotions, and my spirit. They are very revealing to say the least. I wish to reach those living with this illness.
