Why I write poetry, is to right a wrong, for racial equality, not for some, but for all. One voice, one people, joined by grace, poetry is the rhyme and reason, defining the human race. My creation is about people's emotions during a relationship and possible outcomes. Despite our various backgrounds, we have an intriguing commonality--romantic relationships. Sharing smiles and cries with a partner on an intimate level is a familiar societal structure. This bond can be initiated with a stare, a laugh, or a simple conversation. Then it can evolve in the workplace, gym, nightclub, worshipping center, etc. Nobody truly wants to be alone.

The reflections presented here are the offspring of the author's own silence and slow time in caves, forest monasteries, and countless retreats. Written with the wisdom, humility, and humor of one who has taken the time to examine one's self and the nature of the human condition, this new collection of story-poems regards concerns of the experienced meditator.

This Poem was written after reading a poem by William Wordsworth titled 'The Longest Day'. I checked and there had never been a poem written of the Shortest Day at the time of writing. This poem was written in the 90's and is only just getting published here now! I hope you enjoy it.

Alan Seeger was born on 22nd June 1888 in New York. After attending several elite preparatory schools, he enrolled at Harvard in 1906, where he also edited and wrote for the Harvard Monthly. War’s looming dark shadow was to have a transformative effect on the young poet and on 24th August 24th, 1914, he joined the French Foreign Legion so he could fight for the Allies. On American Independence day, 4th July 1917, whilst urging on his fellow soldiers in a successful charge at Belloy-en-Santerrem he was hit several times by machine gun fire and died.

As usual they express the trials and tribulations, the glory and the pain, the grandiosity and obsession, the paranoid deluded thinking that come with having a paranoid schizophrenic disability. There is so much intensity and passion exhibited in this work of art. The author will take you to places you have never been in mind and spirit. You will feel empathy and compassion probably some sympathy. But these poems are not meant to make its listeners feel sorry for the author.

My Words to You is a collection of poems and reminders that helped Emilio Esteban Trinidad get through the hard times in his life. The purpose of My Words to You is to let the listeners know that we all have battles that we are fighting. But we are in this together, no matter what.
