None of which Bran can become. Until one day, when a griffin crash lands into the stable, a summoner riding on top of the beast. That day, everything changes for Bran. He is thrust into a world of magical creatures and their masters, and he soon discovers just how unique he is.

After undergoing training in the Ranger class, Bran must now begin his Mage training. With Lara to tutor him, he expects to level far faster than he did as a Ranger. But there are more mysteries to be uncovered at Ketria Academy, ones that will shock Bran to his very core. And someone already knows the answers to these mysteries. Someone who would very much like to use Bran for their own ends.

Bran has discovered more about himself than he could have ever thought possible. Not only is he a summoner who can use multiple classes, but he’s also not of the human realm. This knowledge, however, comes with a price: a target on his back and enemies around every corner. Now that Volrath and the Morkoth Empire are at war with Bran's home kingdom, the situation in the human realm has reached boiling point. When Morkoth claims that Volrath was acting as a rogue element, the emperor decides to sue for peace.
