I really liked the plot I just didn't like how fast it went through. Two years passed in just a few chapters and I think a lot more experience and depth could have been added to the storyline instead of skipping ahead two years. The female narrator did both genders well but the male narrator seemed only comfortable with the deep male voice. His female narration voice was too soft and childish. It took away from the strong female lead. I also wasn't sure if he was trying to pull off Scottish or a Peaky Blinders character half the time. Overall, it was a really good story and I loved the backstory that went into each character. The ending had good closure.

honestly, I just wanted more. this shouldn't have been a stand alone. the plot had so much depth and I wish they utilized it.

I would have rated it higher but unfortunately, the male narrator honestly kinda killed the book. and not in a good way. the woman who narrated should have just done the entire thing better because she nailed their voices and accents. the male narrator, was terrible. specifically, with Reeves. the man is supposed to have an Irish accent but somehow his internal dialogue is without an accent...? that's not how that works. ALSO, dude couldn't even keep it up the entire time (harsh pun intended). he slipped on the accent so much, from like British to Australian so times unrecognizable. he's just bad.

despite being left unsatisfied because I wanted so much more to it, I would have rated this much higher had she done all the narration by herself. the author could have also saved herself a ton of money I'm sure lol

I did enjoy the characters, and the plot that was seemingly in the room with us, was also good.

Reve is the character that was not consistent at all. in the beginning, you read/hear that he is Irish....then throughout the book it's as if he is Australian in multiple parts, and some other parts he's American...it's just NOT good for Reve. Truly annoying to listen to those inconsistencies.

Overall, the audio isn't bad. Definitely nothing to be excited about as far as any emotions put into the reading....it's just.....reading for the most part. idk how to explain it. It worked for the purpose of me needing to listen during work vs reading the physical book.

I like the author she writes great smut with good relationship dynamics and the narration was great until the man tried to voice the girls part and vice versa

paranormal reverse harem

I find the story intriguing but it was so frustrating every time the male voice came in. Every line ends with downward inflection and he has absolutely no character or emotion in his voice.
Needs some study on operative words and how they affect storytelling.

It was a nice storyline, but I’m not sure if I’m interested in a second book if there is one. The final chapters seemed a bit unnecessary to me and felt like they were just filler chapters to stretch the story.

good storyline and super sexy voices

The story is ok. Nothing surprising and no real obstacles to overcome. Lots of smut which I’m fine with.
The female narrator does a great job but she is overshadowed but the terrible job the guy does.
His female voice is whiny and annoying, his accents are horrible and inconsistent and he runs his words together worse than I ran this sentence together. Him reading sex scenes is just cringe worthy.
There are so many better male narrators out there. I will make note for future books to not listen if he reads.

Petition to never let this guy read another book.
