Memory and Accelerated Learning

Memory and Accelerated Learning sounded like it was written for the classroom as it referred to students often. It also kind of sounded like a job training video. It was chockful of information but it was also dry. This type of learning through listening might be better absorbed by the listener if it was less monotone and more convivial or lively. Or if it had used levity.it may have been easier to retain the info.

There were way too many suggestions in this audiobook to leave a review if you are enjoying the book. I don't like hearing this in audiobooks let alone hearing it numerous times. If it must be said then once is enough.

Memory retrieval or recall with interference was interesting. The example of picturing a penny and drawing it and saying that it would be a rough sketch at best was questionable as some artists rely on rough sketches to paint. A rough sketch is necessary and useful in both contexts. All they need is a rough sketch to go by to produce the desired outcome.
Making a KWL map was a good idea. I looked it up and it does reflect back to the classroom and students and teachers.

Simple and interesting ideas to improve oneself

This book is a source of information about the different techniques available to help you learn more effectively and retain information better. It brought forth quite a few tactics I will be trying and all seem reasonably sound in why they would help improve my abilities. It is made for anyone to take away some things they can try and apply today and is probably an introduction to more advanced tactics. The narration is solid and Timothy Burke helped deliver everything clearly and at a good pace.
