Everything I needed to hear!

This book was exactly what I was looking for. I have a narcissistic boss who likes to tear people down so he feels better about himself, and I was letting it affect my self-confidence and value and before I knew it I wasn’t performing and it wasn’t meeting the expectation because I couldn’t handle the emotions. I respond really well to constructive criticism, but it felt more like a personal attack on my character, for example, pointing out character flaws that had nothing to do with work environments. After reading this book, I have come to realize how to handle my emotions and strengthen my mental toughness so that i can accept these emotions process them, and then let them go rather than hold onto them and let them feed negativity.

Good read.

I liked the simplicity of the author's writing. There isn't anything I did not like since Mental toughness I'd something I've been trying to put into practice and also teach the young people I work. Ian's books are always an enjoyable and stimulating read for me

Very good read

I really needed the pointers in this book. I have already applied to my professional and personal life. The narrator's voice was very good and strong. I plan to get the hard copy book as I feel it is a must have in my library.

Learn to Master your Emotions

This book provides an insight into the working of emotions. Being mindful of the feedbacks or signals provided by our emotional part is key in overcoming negative emotions. There is also some actionable advice to help us deal with our emotions and keep our emotional health in check. I have always been a fan of thoughtful advice, which this book provides in plenty. This is not an easy read, but would highly recommend it to anyone willing to put in the work for self-improvement.

Covers a lot of information

Good information possibly could have used more bolding in the kindle version since there were so many words and I generally don't use highlighting. Lists of high-points were useful at some chapter conclusions.
