Publisher's summary

Carson Kressley is the most recognizable name in men's fashion today. With a legion of fans who hang on his every tip and quip, Kressley has single-handedly made it cool for the average guy to care about clothes. In Off the Cuff, Carson makes over the tired men's style guide with an edgy, hilarious romp through every man's closet: from socks to scarves, from jeans to leather jackets, from the dreaded pleated khaki to the classic pink oxford.

Trading trends for timeless style, Off the Cuff helps readers abandon the chase for "the newest black" or tomorrow's version of the mandarin collar. Kressley delivers a guide that mines each man's unique personality and physique and lets readers in on his best-kept secret, that the only thing sure to stay in fashion is the man who wears what's right for him.

Written with Carson's signature wit and irreverence, Off the Cuff is poised to deliver what Queer Eye fans have always wanted: Carson in their closet.

Fundamental

Growing up I never had anyone tell me the things to consider when attempting to dress well. I knew most things instinctively, but this is like having a dad explain to you the why. Now I can guide my sons in dressing their best as well. Great audiobook!

A lot of good advice in a light hearted format

Really enjoyable listen. Some normal advice but some interesting ideas as well. Presenter in a hilarious format, but some try little nuggets that would be helpful to most.

Funny and Useful

This is an excellent basic style book for a guy who simply wants to dress better, without suffering through a review of the entire history of men's style. Carson is surprisingly practical and conservative in his advice, assuming nothing, but reaching out to all levels of interest on the topic. Very well done.

remedial but still useful

I liked this book but it was still a little dated I expected it to be a bit more classic end at times it was a bit too sassy and condescending. Carson Kressley is really talented but as a teacher leaves something to be desired.
