Amazing eye opener

I own my own business and never considered myself to be a salesperson, then I realized I am; but not a good one. This book is an eye opener filled with amazing ideas.

STRICTLY FOR BEGINNERS

What would have made Secrets of the Great Rainmakers better?

More practicality and fewer platitudes.

What could Jeffrey J. Fox have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

This seems to be Mr. Fox's schtick

What didn’t you like about Jeffrey J. Fox’s performance?

This book is useful if you have not thought through the most basic aspects of getting new work to your business. It's essentially useless if you need anything more than rudimentary first-steps education.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

This book was a waste of money. The most regretted book purchase of the last 10 years.

Any additional comments?

I cannot imagine anyone in the position to need this book would not already know these basic tips. It reads like a bad seminar.

Where are the secrets ?

Nothing new and bordering heavily towards dullness. Disappointing.

Bad Old School

I"m OK with old school approaches, but when a book touts a direction that never worked, it's absolute junk. It really is an outline of what's considered a lone wolf selling style, which is never repeatable nor should be followed.
