About this listen

Thirteen-year-old Theodore Boone thought the danger had passed, but he’s about to face off against an old adversary: Accused murderer and fugitive Pete Duffy.

On a field trip to Washington, DC, Theo spots a familiar face on the Metro: Duffy, who jumped bail and was never seen again. Theo’s quick thinking helps bring Duffy back to Strattenburg to stand trial. But now that Duffy knows who he is, Theo is in greater danger than he’s ever been in before. Even when everything is on the line, Theodore Boone will stop at nothing to make sure a killer is brought to justice.

This smart, fast-paced legal thriller for young listeners is the newest adventure for clever and determined kid lawyer Theo Boone.

Well Done!!

Theo is a great character, and after 5 episodes, I can't imagine anyone else narrating this series. It's an awesome way to introduce a young audience to courtroom drama.

Another hit for for Theo Boone

Would you listen to Theodore Boone: The Fugitive again? Why?

Continues the story well. Love the characters and the heart of the book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

All of the characters are interesting, but Theo is my favorite. Well written and its good to have a positive young person featured in literature.

Which scene was your favorite?

I loved the descriptive writing about Washington D.C. The trivia about the Ford Theater was great.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Theo gets his man - again!

Any additional comments?

Great series, written for kids, but enjoyable for a middle 40's pastor/dad. I have a couple of Theo Boone's in my house - brilliant minds who like doing the right things - and these books make me smile.

Great book for the whole family very educational

It's a great story and a great character. Also a great way to learn about the law profession in the trial process. Also a little history to go with it. Highly recommend for the whole family. Our kids ages seven through 14 all loved it.

Law has application for all. Young and old...__:

Theo is far from being average, but his youth is tempered from being the son of loving parents who love the laws that govern our free contry. Wisdom of one so young is rare and due honor.

Great light read!

Fun read for Theodore Boone fans. As usual Theodore finds adventure in his typical, kid lawyer, over-the-top way!

Great Story

Great story, but the narrator should have slowed down. Much of it sounded like a continuous run-on sentence.

Good presentation

Pretty good book. Reader did a great job. Worth listening to. I would highly recommend the previous Theodore Boone book prior to listening to this one, though I like this story better.

Another stellar book

Grisham has done it again with a great story geared for youth and yet interesting enough to capture the attention of his adult readers.

Discussing real life situations and legal matters in a way young people would understand, the story is also highly captivating and entertaining.

Recommended for the legal beagle in every family, perfect for vacation or travel reading!
