Publisher's summary

Theories of Personality speaks in depth of the four major categories of personality theory: psychodynamic, humanistic/existential, dispositional and learning theories. Each theory within these four classifications is attached to a theorist describing in depth the details to his or her theory. These theories of personality are 100 years in the making, and although the theories may conflict one another, each theory binds the four classifications into a single unit of personality theory.

Learning about a theorist's theory is to learn about the individual. These great minds would document their work for all to see for years to come. Enjoy this unique compilation of their work put together as a single unit describing the theories of personality in detail.

Terribly Narrator

It was extremely hard to concentrate on materials being read because it sounded like the narrator was intoxicated at times. She slurred her words so much I could not understand what she was saying at times. I stopped listening , I could not take it anymore!

Semi-passable narration, but good insight

Could have used a narrator with more convincing awareness of subject matter. This material is far too important to be brought down many notches by an uninterested voice.

Boring performance!

Besides the shortcomings of the book itself, the narrator’s style of reading, flat speech rate and volume , unnecessary accents on specific points in a sentence, and obvious numerous re-recordings all strongly suggest that the narrator either not really familiar or interested in the subject she was reading or it was just a “job” she was performing devoid of warmth or any scholarly passion! The reading of a book should encourage the listener to know more about the subject and ignite enthusiasm! So disappointed!
