Mary then gives birth to her firstborn Son, Jesus, in a stable. Angels appear to shepherds announcing His birth, and the shepherds go to see Jesus, and they spread the Good News to everyone in the town about what had happened. Mary and Joseph take Jesus to the Temple, where Simeon meets them, and he thanks God that he was allowed to see the Child before he died. Later, Jesus is now a 12 year old, where He teaches on the Temple, and after 3 days, His parents find him, and they take Him back to their hometown, where Jesus grows up in wisdom and in favor with God.

    In Chapter 19 of The Gospel of John, Jesus is taken to be flogged and is then mocked by the Roman soldiers, calling Him King of the Jews. Jesus is then brought back to Pontius Pilate, and Pilate tries to release Him, but the crowd keeps demanding for His death, and so Pilate reluctantly agrees. Later Jesus is crucified, and dies hours later, knowing that He completed His mission. Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus arrive at the place where He was crucified, and they come and carry His body to be buried in a nearby tomb.
