    Oct 21 2024

(There is SO much goodness packed into this episode it was literally impossible to think of a title that does it justice.)

In what’s been one of my favourite episodes to record so far, I’m talking to licensed therapist, couples counselor and relationship coach, Lauren Walsh. Through Lauren’s extensive career in mental health and her own private practice, she helps women heal from past relationship trauma so that they can choose healthier love and become the highest version of themselves. We cover so much ground in this episode but ultimately it all comes back to how to build the best relationship with yourself first so that we can get to a place of making healthier choices…

So whether you’re trying (successfully or unsuccessfully) to navigate the dating world, you’re in a relationship, you’re married, or you just want to build a stronger relationship with yourself - there will be something in this conversation for you!

    TOPICS WE COVER:

-Fear of being single - how we can start to shift our mindset around being single so that we can avoid making fear-based decisions that won’t make us happy long term

-Self-love: How to overcome the feeling of being ‘lost’ when we aren’t in a relationship and build a solid foundation in ourselves so that we never feel pressure to settle for a situation that isn’t right

-Getting to know YOU, the first steps of building a relationship with yourself when you have no idea where to start!

-Dating after heartbreak - how to balance self-protection with still allowing ourselves to be vulnerable and open to finding love again after heartbreak

-When to stay and when to go - knowing when you’re ‘settling’ versus making healthy compromises in a relationship

-Can we really find love on dating apps?!

-Attracting HEALTHY love - habits to look for in a healthy relationship - and how to maintain one!

    Oct 8 2024

What are you risking by NOT chasing the life you truly want?

Is certain unhappiness, better than uncertainty? We’re conditioned to think that familiar is better, safer, that even if it’s not actually making us happy it’s still better than the unknown, better than uncertainty - but is it? In this episode I’m offering a mindset shift on why the biggest risk in life isn’t taking the bet on yourself and following your dreams… the risk is what happens if you don’t…

  • 23: CHOOSING A DIFFERENT PATH. Starting over when 'success' doesn't bring fulfilment, with Lindsey Jane Gordon.
    Oct 1 2024

What does ‘fulfilment’ look like when we’re not chasing the traditional milestones? When we’re not interested in the timelines and the conventional ‘successes’ that we’ve been so conditioned to believe equal happiness?

In this episode, I’m talking to Lyndsey Jane Gordon, writer, and creator of ‘The Other Way’ blog and podcast series, who, despite having an incredibly successful life ‘on paper’ walked away from a high-flying finance career with a salary and a glamorous expat lifestyle in Singapore to match.

This is Lindsey’s story of trusting the niggle when you KNOW you want more, giving YOURSELF permission to explore and create your own path…and starting over from your childhood bedroom to build a community of thousands who are choosing to live life ‘the other way.’

If you’ve ever wondered if it’s ok to make different choices, to take a different path - you’re not on your own and this is the episode for you.

    TOPICS WE COVER:

-Why fear of judgment is still the number one thing that stops us from making changes and how we can start to work through our fears and beliefs to create a life that’s in alignment with what we truly value

-How to tune into your own guidance and hear your own voice in the noise of other people's opinions

-How to deal with the external pressure of the timelines and conventional milestones while creating a life that feels authentic to YOU

-Navigating dating and dealing with stereotypes as a woman who is child-free by choice

-What ‘fulfilment’ and having a full life look like when you’re not chasing the traditional milestones

-Practical steps on how we can start to create change and move in the direction of the life we want to live, even when it feels like we don’t have options

    And so much more…

    Until next time X
