I was watching my daughter’s program called Don’t Judge Me I Am A Single Parent one evening as she interviewed a practicing social worker. The knowledgeable woman made a statement that startled me. The discussion was about those who had experienced abuse - she said “If you are a victim you never get over it”. I remember thinking - if that being the case how will that experience influence a person’s future i.e. marriage. Coincidentally just a few days after; I spoke to a friend who discussed some issues she was facing in her marriage.

Everyone must learn, understand and comprehend the truth surrounding the subject of faith because without faith is it is impossible to please God. Bible also tells us that the righteous will live by faith. Therefore unless we understand and truly begin to walk in the fullness of faith there would be certain things lacking in our spiritual maturity.

As a believer, there are two ways for a person to live; one is to do everything yourself/by your own power and the other way is to do things by completely relying on and functioning by his power that comes from the Holy Spirit.

In this audiobook, my aim was to bring together the Scriptures that I believe summarize what God intends for us in the place of prayer. It is my desire and I believe it to be true that, if we pray according to God’s will, He hears us. And if God hears us; according to His promise, He will answer us and we need to believe that.

Evil men with unthinkable character traits that would make you cringe. You will be familiar with one or two but some are obscure. When I first got saved I used to think, "If God had planned everything why should I bother to plan? If everything that happens is according to God’s will and purposes why should I bother to even think of planning?" That kind of thinking has many problems. Number one: Whilst God is sovereign not everything that happens on Earth is according to his will. That is one of the reasons we pray saying "let your will be done on Earth as it is in heaven." If God's will is always done on Earth we don't need to pray that prayer. Do we?

I really pray that the Scriptures we are about to read will not only help us to understand that God uses young people, but to help us to change the policies we implement. Paul says we should know no man after the flesh, though we used to know Christ that way we do so no longer. Everyone must be willing to know young people by the spirit; speak to them by the spirit, and create the atmosphere that allows them to function by the spirit of God.
