Her fiancé becomes enraged and when the bible is completed there is an altercation and someone dear to Abby gets critically injured. This love story has a fulfilling and satisfying ending.

Amanda and Cecil Get the Boot is about a young man who takes the bullet for an older man and becomes paralyzed. Stricken with guilt, the older man takes the paralyzed one home and because he cannot remember how he became paralyzed, and the older man's daughter doesn't know the circumstances, the older man has to live under a self-imposed lie, which is tearing him apart.
