My Grandmother's Tale first appeared as a serialized novelette in several issues of The Pearl, an underground magazine of erotica that appeared during the Victorian age. In this story, a grandmother, May, reflects on her sexual awaking at a young age, and details her many sexual trysts over the years, in explicit and often humorous descriptions. She then has some of her friends relate their experiences.
