The Magician's Nephew is the sixth of the seven-book The Chronicles of Narnia series. This entry into the allegorical series tells the story of the creation of the world of Narnia by the lion Aslan. The events in the story take place 1000 years before The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

C S Lewis's philosophical defence of Natural Law (absolute morality) - without which human beings are reduced to less than fully human, and are, thus ‘abolished'. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis is a fantasy novel for children, first published in 1950. Most of the story is set in Narnia, a land of talking animals and mythical creatures ruled by the wicked White Witch. The narrative starts with four English siblings being relocated to a large country house following a wartime evacuation. They visit Narnia through a wardrobe and become involved in its affairs and its history.

The Silver Chair by C.S. Lewis was the fourth published of the seven novels that make up The Chronicles of Narnia (1950-1956), but is marked volume six in those editions that are sequenced according to the Narnian chronology.
