Story
Managers as Mentors is a rapid-fire listen and a provocative guide to helping associates grow and adapt in today’s tumultuous organizations. This new edition has been thoroughly revised and updated. As with previous editions there is a fictional case study of a mentor-protégé relationship running through the book, but this is augmented with six actual case studies of top CEOs who relate key mentoring experiences in their lives. This hands-on guide takes the mystery out of effective mentoring.

Great
Simple. Powerful. Encouraging. Refreshing. Totally badass.
I love great stories and practical, actionable advice. This book is full of both. If you coach, manage, or lead others in anyway you will benefit greatly from this work.

Great coaching audio book
I am enjoying this book, the tips, techniques and language it uses to breakdown scenarios and how to coach the individual. It's easily understandable. This will stay in my reference stack for many years.

Pay the price. If you want to coach buy this book. The teachings are inclusive and the worldview is liberal.

Not bad...
Good book about coaching with solution focused methodology. Has some exercises that you can use for training coaching skills. Also has examples of coaching conversations. This book wasn't easy listen but it was worth the effort.

My cup of tea
It's a quick listen with short chapters that feel like nuggets of wisdom and cliches, and that's okay. It should be what you want and expect when you buy a book with this title. I got something out of it, and I'm sure you will to.

Good reference
I recommend this book as an overview of the different methods of coaching, and see it adding value for other HR practitioners, counselors, career/executive coaches, I-O Psychologists, and a good reference book to have on your shelf. Basically, if you need help with any type of coaching, I think this audio book is great.
