Good Story & Narration

GOING FOR KONA
Delightful story, interesting characters, and a good narrator by Natalie Gray. Adrian got Michele to try out for the Ironman Triathlon. When he is hit by a car, and how she laments, and carries on. This seems real, the push to continue, she does with the memory to go on with the Ironman. Her son is left in the wings, when he could of used his mother to grieve. How she finally faced life again with help from friends and family. The narration by Natalie Gray brought this story to life, with the tension, emotion of the characters.
FIGHTING FOR ANNA
Michele is alone for the summer, a place, Adrian brought as a surprise. Her neighbor Giget was known in the art field and wanting a book written. She was murdered before it was completed, and changed her will leaving most to Michele. Which brings friends and foes out, as she is determined to finish, a captivating story with good narration by Natalie Gray.
SEARCHING FOR DIME BOX
Michele as a defense attorney does a lot of pro bono work, which goes out of control with shady people and drugs, A personnel issue happens with her grandson which leads to poisoning or what and cover ups. Then the mixed message to her love interest. A lot happens in this story and decisions for her to make. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

Very Enjoyable

I'm listening to this for a second time. I found it very relaxing. The story includes suspense, and romance. Recognizes that everyone grieves at their own rate and in their own way. the challenges of raising, adolescents and promotes open mindedness for cultural differences.

Entertaining Texas location and characters.

The stories were original. Soon into reading, the author's personal leaning toward woke spotlighting of ideas she may consider racist, anti- LGBTQ, begins to surface. it was not enough to make me feel one political identity would be pushed throughout the read. The interesting stories outweigh the liberal leaning for me. The author's sensitivity about grief, health, and family is sensitive and familiar.
The narrator is easy to listen to until she attempts to pronounce words in Spanish. although I enjoyed her expression and realism. But, I cringed at every word in Spanish.
I still had fun listening.
