When 17-year-old Maddy Pruitt vanishes from her sleepy town, word on the street is that she ran away. The daughter of an abusive alcoholic with a quick temper, she had every reason to leave in search of something better, and everyone who knew Maddy knew the type of company she kept wasn't always ideal.

But when a second 17-year-old girl from a local, affluent family turns up missing shortly after Maddy's disappearance, the circumstances become suspicious. I really liked the book it kept my attention from beginning to end. Was not really excepting the twist

Really liked the book.

The plot was twisty but implausible. It was entertaining at best and juvenile at worst. I will not listen to another book by Neva Navarro in the future. I couldn’t stand hearing “bed”, “breath” and “chest” pronouced as “bad”, “brath” and “chast”. The pronunciation became irritating very quickly. The other two readers were fine.

Caught and kept my attention however I feel like it was rushed, especially toward the last two hours. I remember thinking “they are going to tie this up that quickly?!” And was disappointed with the outcome.

Wonderfully written, a book to share with my 17 year old daughter to bring awareness. It’s realistic without being to gruesome.

This book started off, grabbing my attention immediately, but then it went on, and I figured it was gonna be like any other book. I read with kind of a repeating story. Then plot twist, and I was hooked to the very last sentence.

Decent storyline and characters you can care about. It got a little jumbled for me toward the end but it wraps up nicely and all is explained.
