I’m a little over a year out from my surgery. I listened to this book prior to surgery and after my gastric sleeve. I’m getting ready to listen to it again. I’m 5’8:
Highest weight 293
Current weight 188
Goal weight 175

His advice works. And he supplies the reasons why his advice works. He also has a YouTube channel you can follow.

I don’t like some the voice of the narrator when he asks the questions, but that’s personal preference.

This book is so helpful and I absolutely learned so much from it. It’s packed with information about what to expect before surgery and after surgery. What you may or may not experience. It has quizzes, and has chapter summaries.

Dr. Duc C. Vuong has created The texture scale and goes over what it means. It’s been a great help. I purchased the book (softcover) in 2016 and wore out the pages, marked them as well. Very informative. He goes over how to handle work, holiday, birthday parties or special occasions and what you may or may not experience. I recommend this book especially those individuals who are looking for the ultimate success with their new tool.

I enjoyed this book. So much information to digest. I believe this book is even for a person not choosing a sleeve surgery who wants to be reprogrammed with a healthy eating plan and strategy. I’m keeping this as a long term reference.
