He used manipulation and control to force the young girl’s mother to perform some of the most Unthinkable and Unforgiveable acts on her.

He did everything possible to dime that young girl’s light. For Eleven years she was his sex slave who did whatever he told her to do.

“This book takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. It’s inspiring, uplifting, heartfelt, and emotional."

You're left challenged as the reader to think about Forgiveness while and asking yourself this one question.

Such a compelling story!

The first thing I want to do is warn you that this story is not an easy narrative to stomach and does include themes of violence, the sexual assault of a child, and generational trauma. That having been said, you will likely listen to it in one sitting just as I did because the truth of the life of Linda K Flower as told by her daughter is raw, compelling, and intriguing. It contains moments of inspiration, testaments of love and humanity, and examples of how monstrous people can be but it begs to be witnessed and the world is richer for having this story in it.

Courage to leave!

While this book is centered on forgiveness, I can't help but notice her courage. I thought about her plight and girls/women in situations like hers, and my heart weeps. Thank God for forgiveness and thank God for the courage it took to leave.
You are truly a survivor!
