Outdated

While very informative describing causes etc, the information seemed to be somewhat outdated in that it was recommending the dash diet. I was looking for information on new ways to lower blood pressure. No actual information was given regarding specific foods and menus to follow.

This is old information and not relevant today.

This author recommends low fat, low salt and the cliché about eating fruits and vegetables with whole grains. Little meat and saturated fats. Today's studies show just opposite. There was no mention of lowering Carbohydrates and pushing the standard government food pyamid.
IMO, about 1/3 of the book is good information.
I won't be recommending this book.

Very Disappointing

The information herein was not particularly compelling and in some cases clearly out of step with current information on diet and nutrition. The book is not dangerous, it's just not very helpful. I am so glad I found it on Audible and avoided the one-year newsletter subscription.

A lot of old data. Sounded like a robot wrote it

Nothing but regurgitated info.

This book offered nothing you didn’t already know!!! It did not bring any new insight as it lead one to believe!
