Ok, so I must be the only one in the world that's never heard of "brown noise". We've all heard the term white noise for years, but I didn't make the connection. I picked this book as I thought it would discuss different techniques and methods to help with sleep and/or insomnia (of which I have both). Boy, was I surprised at what this audiobook was! I didn't get the information I was looking for to give me maybe some tips or tricks to fall asleep, but what I did discover about ten minutes into this book is a nearly perfect state of relaxation. Then the eyelids got heavy, and you can guess what happened next. I woke up after about ten minutes and wanted to call or email RJ Ivy for producing one of the best audiobooks I've listened to all year. I will definitely wear this audiobook out, as this will be my new sleep habit. Well done.

Calming background noise
This audiobook is exactly what it says on the tin, four hours of brown noise, and it’s great! I find that brown noise helps me tune out external distractions, helping me get to sleep quicker or allowing me to focus on projects more. Brown noise is also less grating on my ears than white or pink noise, it reminds me of ocean waves constantly crashing or the low rumble of airplane engines while being safe in the cabin. Whatever you choose to utilize brown noise for, this book has four hours of it! Highly recommended!

The Soothing Soundtrack to Serenity
The sound is smooth and relaxing. I used this for a quick nap and it helped make the world disappear. I'd recommend this audiobook of brown noise for those looking to relax. It's a great way to help the sounds around you disappear.

Music to my Ears
"Pure Brown Noise: For Sleep, Insomnia, and Meditation" is incredibly relaxing to listen to. At points, I heard what sounded like faint music, the ocean, wind, humming, and more. The pure brown noise reduced stress- allowing me to relax. It was also useful while meditating. For sleep, my ceiling fan does the job for me, but I could see how others find this pure brown noise useful for insomnia. The length of this audiobook fits multiple activities making it a suitable companion when needed.

Great with insomnia/jet lag
I have recently moved continents and insomnia and jet lag have been my roommates for the past weeks. I was really desperate as pills did not really work and nothing could relax me. A friend of mine recommended to listen to brown noise. I must say that it really helped, I would fall asleep with it on my earphones and I would fall asleep after a while. I like that it's 4 hours long so that I do not need to worry in case I wake up in the first hours, the sound is still there so I just fall asleep again easily. I recommend!

Instant Relaxation!
I am so picky when it comes to meditation sounds and white noise. I love the "Pure Brown Noise". I can't wait to use this daily to drop into meditation and allow myself to get to a more relaxed state quickly. Audible makes it so convenient to bring this everywhere with you. Highly recommend!

Best brown noise audio out there
Brown noise really helps me. I know I’m not alone when saying that, and this audiobook is fantastic. I listen to it all the time and it really helps me clear my mind when I need to focus. This is the best one, trust me!
