SO HELPFUL-new to keto!

New to keto and this is exactly what I was looking for!!!! Had great details and examples. I am a runner and wanted to know what to do during races etc.

Maybe A Premature Perspective.

Clearly a decent amount of research went into this book. The story telling was well done.

Some minor editing/post production flaws. Not earth shattering but distracting at times.

Would have preferred that her personal experience with the diet was farther along.

I enjoyed the book and have shared it with several people.

Far from the "ultimate guide."

Far from the "ultimate guide."
More of a very basic introduction.
Doesn't discuss enough nuances of the diet, it's like a cheap ad for the keto diet, curating information that makes keto look good.
This just felt like a cheap, grad of information from the internet, pasted into an audiobook.

There are a lot more free resources online that would save time and be more informative than this book.

Seriously dangerous

This book contains a lot of misinformation. The author is selling a diet that she hasn’t been on long enough.

Also, there isn’t a single downside being discussed. Our hospitals are full of athletes that changed to a keto diet. Every healthcare professional I consulted on this topic warned me that it will cause permanent damage to your body! And every athlete I know has either failed to finish races, or has been hospitalized on a low carb diet.
