"Mother Goose in Prose" is a collection of twenty-two children's stories based on Mother Goose nursery rhymes. It was the first children's book written by author L. Frank Baum, published in 1897. I truly love this book, The Marvelous Land of Oz, by Lyman Frank Baum. It brings up so many memories of childhood when I read it for the first time. Through my life, I have heard this book referenced many times due to its popularity and significance. I hope this book continues to impact the lives of others the way it has impacted mine.
