Excellent!

I got this audiobook for my mom. I was thrilled to see it comes with a pdf, so you get all diagrams, which is very helpful. My mom likes that the suggested routines only take her about 10 minutes to do- anything longer and I don't think she would stick with it. So far so good, she is doing it and that is a huge win!

Better movement for better living

I wanted to check this audiobook out before sending it along to my parents. While it seems counterintuitive for anything with ‘chair’ in the title that actually promotes movement, but that’s the entire purpose of the book. Movement and exercise, at any level and degree is great for those aging or leading a sedentary lifestyle. This audiobook helped me understand even basic exercises can be beneficial. Great book for encouraging health.

Bought for my mom-excellent guide!

This Book, "Chair Yoga for Seniors Over 60 Made Simple" authored by Dr Ron Daulton Jr., sets the foundation for chair yoga for seniors, and its many benefits. The author revealed and dispelled popular myths regarding chair yoga for seniors. He depicts it as a highly accessible exercise activity that addresses the health of the body as a whole, not merely flexibility and strength. It impacts cognitive status, and quality of life, enhances breathing and mindfulness, as well as provides many other general and specific health benefits, which he expounds on. The author also provides safety tips, how to select the appropriate chair for yoga, chair yoga accessories, and how to address any injury. He also encourages seeking advice from your personal physician. I was not quite sure how listening to an audiobook on chair yoga would work for me because I like visuals, but everything is explained so well that I was able to follow along quite well. I recommend this book to all of my fellow seniors and those who know others. Great work Dr Daulton Jr.
