Publisher's summary
Imagine yourself lying on a pillow of peace, where each breath you take carries you deeper into a world where time slows, and your mind drifts like a feather on a gentle breeze. Welcome to the Esdaile State, a realm where sleep transcends the ordinary and becomes a powerful journey into the deepest levels of hypnosis.
I’m Andrew Green, and I’ll be your guide on this profound journey. When I first discovered the Esdaile State at hypnotherapy school in 2012, it felt as though I had uncovered a hidden portal—a place where bliss and serenity reign supreme. The experience was unlike anything I had ever known—a depth of peace so pure and all-encompassing that I knew I had to share it with the world.
The Esdaile State, first discovered by Dr. James Esdaile in the 1800s, is a hypnotic state so profound that it transports you into a realm of comfort and serenity that defies the ordinary.
Tonight, as you rest your head on your pillow of peace, you won’t just fall asleep—you’ll effortlessly unlock the secret depths of this legendary hypnosis. Picture a future where stress is but a distant memory, where your sleep patterns are reprogrammed to bring you the deepest, most restorative sleep each night. Imagine waking each morning not just refreshed, but transformed—your body revitalized, your mind clear, your spirit uplifted. This is more than a sleep aid; it’s an invitation to explore a state of peace that few ever truly discover.
With over 10,000 hours of hypnosis sessions behind me, and as a certified trainer for the National Guild of Hypnotists, I’ve dedicated my life to helping people find the tranquility they seek. Each night, I guide tens of thousands into the peaceful embrace of sleep, where true rest and rejuvenation begin. So, relax, let go, and allow the soothing waves of the Esdaile State to carry you into the deepest, most peaceful sleep of your life. This is where true peace begins, and where the wonders of deep hypnosis will transform your nights forever.

Story
In 2022, Lisa Marie Presley asked her daughter to help finally finish her long-gestating memoir. A month later, Lisa Marie was dead, and the world would never know her story in her own words, never know the passionate, joyful, caring, and complicated woman that Riley loved and now grieved. Riley got the tapes that her mother had recorded for the book, lay in her bed, and listened as Lisa Marie told story after story about smashing golf carts together in the yards of Graceland, about the unconditional love she felt from her father, about being upstairs, just the two of them.

Story
Sydney Shaw, like every single woman in New York, has terrible luck with dating. She’s seen it all: men who lie in their dating profile, men who stick her with the dinner bill, and worst of all, men who can't shut up about their mothers. But finally, she hits the jackpot. Her new boyfriend is utterly perfect. He's charming, handsome, and works as a doctor at a local hospital. Sydney is swept off her feet. Then the brutal murder of a young woman—the latest in a string of deaths across the coast—confounds police. The primary suspect? A mystery man who dates his victims before he kills them.

To the wider world, Al Pacino exploded onto the scene like a supernova. He landed his first leading role, in The Panic in Needle Park, in 1971, and by 1975, he had starred in four movies—The Godfather and The Godfather Part II, Serpico, and Dog Day Afternoon—that were not just successes but landmarks in the history of film. Those performances became legendary and changed his life forever. Not since Marlon Brando and James Dean in the late 1950s had an actor landed in the culture with such force.

I loved this book, super helpful
I have always had trouble getting good sleep. Then, to boot, I married someone who has trouble sleeping. This book has helped us both move in the right direction! The blend of old and new techniques and practices seems like a perfect fit to me. Furthermore, because the techniques have started to work, I think I am less stressed out about getting good sleep, which just helps me get MORE better sleep! The narration is very good, and adds to, rather than distracting from, the message of the book. I think with this books' help I am finally on the road to getting some healthy sleep patterns into my life, and maybe my husband's too. I do a quick 10-15 minute session before bed, and it feels like a personal retreat! I've gotten myself to unwind and really get ready to rest. I’ve noticed significant improvements in my sleep quality—sometimes even gaining extra hours of deep sleep, which is remarkable for me. Overall, I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to enhance their sleep or meditation practice.

This is an incredible book
Deep Sleep Hypnosis-The Esdaile State is beyond a relaxing hypnotic listen. This is such a good book, I listened to most of it twice! The narrator is the perfect voice for this audiobook. I have never heard of this sleep or hypnosis system before. The book says it goes back to the 1800's, so apparently there is quite a history behind this system. I highly recommend this audiobook to anyone who wants to learn to truly relax and sleep well.

A Unique Approach to Deep Sleep and Stress Relief
This book introduced me to a fascinating approach to improving sleep through classic hypnosis techniques from the 1800s. The Esdaile State concept was new to me, but how it’s explained and applied made it accessible and effective. I’ve noticed a real difference in my sleep quality, and it’s also helped me reduce stress before bed. If you’re struggling with insomnia or restless nights, this book is a great resource to reprogram your sleep patterns and achieve deeper rest!

An ameliorative overseeing of all other ailments
One of the main things you’ll notice when listening to this book is the soothing and other worldly soundscapes that take you away to other dimensions of rest and rejuvination. As a certified trainer for the national guild of hypnotists (with over 10,000 hours of experience under his belt no less!), Andrew Green targets hypnosis from a classic approach–going for the classic Esdaile state, bringing listeners into a soothing and serene state that is hard to access by other means, in my opinion. There are many deep sleep hypnosis audio titles out there that target different ailments such as anxiety, deoression, low-confidence, etc., but the great overarching theme of this title is to hit deep sleep in the sweet point that will serve as an ameliorative overseeing of all other ailments.
