Story
In 2022, Lisa Marie Presley asked her daughter to help finally finish her long-gestating memoir. A month later, Lisa Marie was dead, and the world would never know her story in her own words, never know the passionate, joyful, caring, and complicated woman that Riley loved and now grieved. Riley got the tapes that her mother had recorded for the book, lay in her bed, and listened as Lisa Marie told story after story about smashing golf carts together in the yards of Graceland, about the unconditional love she felt from her father, about being upstairs, just the two of them.

Story
Sydney Shaw, like every single woman in New York, has terrible luck with dating. She’s seen it all: men who lie in their dating profile, men who stick her with the dinner bill, and worst of all, men who can't shut up about their mothers. But finally, she hits the jackpot. Her new boyfriend is utterly perfect. He's charming, handsome, and works as a doctor at a local hospital. Sydney is swept off her feet. Then the brutal murder of a young woman—the latest in a string of deaths across the coast—confounds police. The primary suspect? A mystery man who dates his victims before he kills them.

The plane is jam-packed. Every seat is taken. So of course the flight is delayed! Flight attendant Allegra Patel likes her job—she’s generally happy with her life, even if she can’t figure out why she hooks up with a man she barely speaks to—but today is her twenty-eighth birthday. She can think of plenty of things she’d rather be doing than placating a bunch of grumpy passengers.

Story
Ta-Nehisi Coates originally set out to write a book about writing, in the tradition of Orwell’s classic “Politics and the English Language,” but found himself grappling with deeper questions about how our stories—our reporting and imaginative narratives and mythmaking—expose and distort our realities. In the first of the book’s three intertwining essays, Coates, on his first trip to Africa, finds himself in two places at once: in Dakar, a modern city in Senegal, and in a mythic kingdom in his mind.

Please listen if you have a loved one with Dementi
Before Grandma passed, we thought she had dementia, but we didn’t know enough about it. I regret not being nicer to her because I didn’t understand what was happening. Now, Grandpa is starting to show some symptoms, and this book really helps us have a better idea of what to do. The first guide covers early signs and helpful tips, while the second goes deeper into managing behaviors, health, and legal planning. It's simple, supportive, and covers all stages of caregiving.

Helps enormously with our caregiving role
I'm a caregiver for my mother-in-law, together with my husband, and we often feel overwhelmed by the complexities of dementia care. It happened so fast, and we were not prepared. That's why we were looking for information, and we found it in these books. The Beginner's Guide is fantastic for getting a solid foundation; it helped us understand the different stages of dementia and get ready for the future. The real-life stories from other caregivers really resonated with us and provided a sense of community and support.
The Advanced Guide took it up a notch by addressing specific issues like behavior management and medication. I appreciated the strategies for handling difficult behaviors, which can be so stressful at times. The tips on health, hygiene, and even end-of-life care were incredibly helpful for the journey we're on.
I highly recommend giving this collection a listen if you are a caregiver or are going to become one.

Good companion for caregivers
A comprehensive guide for caregivers handling a loved one with dementia. For those just starting out, the first few sections of the book is very easy to understand. It talks about early detection and early symptoms. The book features real-life stories as well, which is encouraging and relatable.
The book also talks about financial and legal planning, which is really great, even though it's a tough topic, it is still necessary. It provides actionable steps to go through the journey of taking care of someone with dementia, while making sure you feel acknowledged in terms of the emotional weight as a caregiver. Highly recommended!

I Wished I Knew This So To Care For Grandma
My grandmother had dementia, and looking back, I wish I had known more about how to care for her. This audiobook really resonated with me, offering clear advice and practical steps that would have made all the difference. The beginner section lays out early signs and caregiving basics, while the advanced guide dives into behavior management, health care, and even end-of-life planning. I appreciated the real-life stories from caregivers as they made me feel less alone and more prepared for what's ahead. Now, as my family faces similar challenges with another loved one, this guide has given us the confidence to handle it better. It's a resource I wish I had years ago, and I highly recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation.
