Grief is complicated and messy and painful and frustratingly unique to each and every individual who has experienced loss. There is not a one-size-fits-all balm for that which can feel insurmountable, even unsurvivable. But when you're ready, embracing all of the sounds that made your loved one who they were can bring you a little closer to that memory, sometimes so close it can feel like they're still there.

Started Off Nice, But...

I've been in Cape Cod a lot of times and by the water at night. Yes there are crickets, but not this bad. I think this setup was in a grassy area and not closer to the beach. More like near houses. More waves and the background bugs would have been nice. The chirping can keep me up.

Extremely relaxing sounds

I love the extremely relaxing sounds of soft ocean waves and slight winds playing repeatedly. This is good for focusing or for background noise.

lower volume helps

helps sleep. I read as well. Cape Cod is good if crickets aren't your thing. it helps turning sound low so they sound like they're Outside!

Yes - crickets on the beach exist!

I love this recording. Relaxes me every time. I’m also amused by the reviews stating “I have never heard crickets on the beach” because they are obviously not from the UK and perhaps forget with their limited world view that the Atlantic Ocean isn’t just a body of water in the US so I give 3 stars for story as this info might help less informed listeners.
